The Playstation 4 (PS4) , the Xbox3 ... Need for Speed 7 ... Midnight Club 4 .. what is the future going to look like? With the new previews of the PS3 and the Xbox 360 .. such games as JUICED and already released Midnight Club 3 and Need for Speed Underground 2 ... car games are getting ridiculous.

We went from a couple boxes with 2 red dots on them in the original nintendo to cars with detail in every single part of the car.. while racing someone from the other side of the world.

In the past 10 years.. thats the kind of change that took place... whats going to happen 5 or 10 years in the future?

I think that in about 5 years .. cars will be so high in detail.. creators of car games can't go anymore into detail, the once known as a 'car game' is going to be like going on a real car ride.

I don't know if its just me .. but it always boggles my mind this crazy stuff.

I had nothing to do one night and it was too late to do anything, so of course I come to this little box in front of me and there was nothing to do. I needed some kind of game to play and I found a pretty cool one, its called Drag Racer V3.

It’s a small Java game that’s nothing but addicting. You have a large variety of cars to choose from and you are trying to win money and pink slip your car for bigger and better cars. Of course I’m not the most talented at the game but it can be beat. Make sure you add some performance parts to your car or you will never win = )

Car games are usually one of the many solutions to a mans biggest problem, boredum. Those little free java based car games are the coolest and most addicting thing made by man. Eventually I will make a post about my favorite, Drag Racer V3, its gotta be one of the best free online car games out there but there are many.......

1. Drivers Ed is exactly what the title sounds like, its an car simulator game where you practice different 'missions' and try to pass the exam and get your license! gotta be one of the best free car games on the internet!

2. Create a Ride is a pretty cool free online car game even though you arent really racing it, your building your dream car.

3. Crash is a game on Shockwave where you are stuck in traffic trying to get around!

There are MANY FREE Online Car Games on the internet.. just gotta GOOGLE search a bit and find more =)

This game is arguably the best for tuner cars... it has a great explore mode with lots of racing action.

The new Underground that was released couple months ago by EA Games was addicting for a while and it takes a long time to get bored of. The game has lots of races, Sprints, Drags, Drifts, the new Street-X races, the traditional Circuits and the occasional Racing Tournament. If your looking for a taste of japanese drifting, their is also downhill drifts that are more challenging and interesting. Almost every part is customizable. You can choose from a variety of cars, these include:

I picked up this game today after all the amazing screenshots shown by various places, it looked amazing and nothing else. The game has over 600 cars dating back from the 1800’s to the current cars being built today.

The simulation mode is has some well thought-out features including my favorite, the auto-save. In the last game in the series, Gran Turismo A-Spec, I’d always finish one of those Endurance races that take me hours, I’ll finally win... I’ll admire all the ‘credits’ I just made and call it a day for the game and as soon as I put the Playstation on standby I realize I didn’t save! The game is astounding by just using the controller, but if you go and spend the extra penny and pick up the Logitech Driving Force Pro, the game gets just that much better.

I give this game 12/10, it’s amazing, nothing else needs to be said about that.
The game is almost as good as anal sex, just make sure you still get out once in a while.

The Need for Speed Underground series, made by EA Sports, is now discontinued. The company has decided to move away from this car-tuning type video games to games that involve police chases with high-brand cars, such as Ferrari and Lamborghini. The EA Sports developers are continuing thier "Hot Pursuit" Series. The game is due out late this year on Xbox, the new Xbox 2, PlayStation 2, GameCube, the upcoming Playstation Portable, Gameboy Advance and of course, the PC!
