Whoops

This isnt a major crash but very interesting as the car flips upside down and the camera angle is in first person. I've always wondered how it was like... I just can't imagine seeing those other crash videos how they would be in first person.

What I don't understand is how the commentary love the fact that he flipped? they were clapping!? I guess the guy driving took it pretty good though, if that were me all you would hear is screaming.

Most definitly not the greatest crash, but its first person, I doubt many of you will witness something like this in your lifetime.

This is just awsome and awful at the same time. In this rally, the WRX Sti just got completly totaled and must have done at least 10 aerial flips, just insanse. His car just gets ripped apart, all the parts go flying, I guess it wasent his turn to win a race and take home the money.

Of course the staff at the event dont care much, most of them take more pictures to make themselves more money then actually go save the poor guy getting ripped apart inside that car waiting for the flips to stop.

I guess if you look on the bright side, he did land his car in the correct position... This guy isn't showing fans that Subaru Rally are the finest rally cars out there...

Whose really at fault here? the guy driving the rally car or the spectators? the spectators were too close and the guy driving is just dumb. Couldn't the guy driving even make an effort to make the turn, he went straight into the poor spectators.

Watch carefully you can see the car flip numerous times on top of the spectators. Severe injuries had to be made and possibly a death, its insane.

Maybe those fans wont get too close in a rally event anymore.

22 year-old Travis Pastrana is a Supercross and Motocross Champion as well as multi-time X-Games Gold Medalist. He pioneered the sport of Freestyle Motocross while inventing many of the sports tricks. In 2004 Pastrana began pursuing his love of rally racing, which he describes as "motocross with a roll cage". Driving for the Subaru backed Vermont SportsCar rally team Pastrana finished 4th Overall and 3rd in Group N at his FIRST gravel rally.
